Second Tsinghua Interdisciplinary Workshop on Logic, Language, and Meaning: Monotonicity in Logic and Language

Time: 2020 December 17 – 20

Venue: Online

Dear Participants of TLLM 2020,

We have decided to reschedule TLLM 2020 online. We will hold the online workshop in December, during December 17-20. It would be a Thursday-Sunday zoom event, from 7 pm – 10:30 pm (China time).

We have already discussed the time with our invited speakers (Gennaro Chierchia, Jowang Lin, Floris Roelofsen and Jakub Szymanik), all of whom are happy to participate and give the invited talks. We also have the pleasure of having Larry Moss as an additional invited speaker!

There will be still two tutorials by Gennaro Chierchia and Jakub Szymanik (we haven’t fixed the time yet but plan to do it as a separate event, preferably a week before the workshop).

We have also confirmed the time with the authors of the accepted abstracts. Around 20 authors are happy to present online. We are currently working on the schedule and more details will come out soon!

Finally, we are working on the proceedings of the workshop to be published by Springer in the FoLLI LNCS series. We have collected 12 full papers (revised final versions) and hope to get the published proceedings ready before the workshop. Stay tuned!
