The workshop

Monotonicity in Logic and Language

(2nd Tsinghua Interdisciplinary Workshop in Logic, Language and Meaning)

will be held online (via Zoom) on December 17 – 20, 2020.

The workshop is hosted by the Tsinghua University – University of Amsterdam Joint Research Center for Logic, and features 22 contributed talks and 5 invited speakers:

  • Gennaro Chierchia (Harvard)
  • Jo-Wang Lin (Academia Sinica)
  • Larry Moss (UI Bloomington)
  • Floris Roelofsen (ILLC)
  • Jakub Szymanik (ILLC)

Before the workshop, on December 16, there are two tutorials:

Jakub Szymanik: Monotonicity in Logic (Dec 16, 18-20 Beijing time)

Gennaro Chierchia: Monotonicity in Language (Dec 16, 21-23 Beijing time)

All interested are welcome, and participation is free, but you need to register in advance. In order to register, send an email to  TLLM202012@gmail.com with the following information no later than December 9, 2020:
