Dao, Logic and Epistemology ——\u00a0<\/strong>Jin Yuelin Conference at Tsinghua University<\/p>\n

\u91d1\u5cb3\u9716\u5148\u751f\uff0c\u5b57\u9f99\u836a\uff081895\u20141984\uff09\uff0c\u662f\u6211\u56fd\u8457\u540d\u7684\u54f2\u5b66\u5bb6\u3001\u903b\u8f91\u5b66\u5bb6\u548c\u6559\u80b2\u5bb6\u30021911\u5e74\uff0c\u8003\u53d6\u6e05\u534e\u5b66\u5802\u9ad8\u7b49\u79d1\uff0c\u540e\u7559\u5b66\u7f8e\u56fd\u3002\u91d1\u5148\u751f1925\u5e74\u5e95\u56de\u56fd\uff0c\u5728\u6e05\u534e\u5927\u5b66\u521b\u7acb\u4e86\u54f2\u5b66\u7cfb\uff0c\u62c5\u4efb\u54f2\u5b66\u7cfb\u7b2c\u4e00\u4efb\u4e3b\u4efb\u3002\u4ed6\u6559\u6388\u903b\u8f91\u5b66\u8bfe\u7a0b\uff0c\u4e3a\u6211\u56fd\u57f9\u517b\u4e86\u4e00\u5927\u6279\u6770\u51fa\u7684\u54f2\u5b66\u548c\u903b\u8f91\u5b66\u4eba\u624d\u3002\u4e3a\u7eaa\u5ff5\u91d1\u5148\u751f\u8bde\u8fb0120\u5468\u5e74\uff0c\u5c06\u4e8e10\u670817-19\u65e5\u5728\u6e05\u534e\u5927\u5b66\u4e3e\u884c\u201c\u7eaa\u5ff5\u91d1\u5cb3\u9716\u5148\u751f\u8bde\u8fb0120\u5468\u5e74\u5b66\u672f\u7814\u8ba8\u4f1a\u201d\u3002\u4f1a\u8bae\u7531\u6e05\u534e\u5927\u5b66\u3001\u91d1\u5cb3\u9716\u5b66\u672f\u57fa\u91d1\u4f1a\u4e3b\u529e\uff0c\u5317\u4eac\u5927\u5b66\u54f2\u5b66\u7cfb\u3001\u4e2d\u56fd\u793e\u4f1a\u79d1\u5b66\u9662\u54f2\u5b66\u6240\u3001\u534e\u4e1c\u5e08\u8303\u5927\u5b66\u5927\u5b66\u54f2\u5b66\u7cfb\u3001\u4e2d\u56fd\u903b\u8f91\u5b66\u4f1a\u534f\u529e\u3002\u4e3a\u4e86\u63a8\u52a8\u6211\u56fd\u7684\u54f2\u5b66\u548c\u903b\u8f91\u5b66\u7814\u7a76\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u4e3e\u884c\u201c\u91d1\u5cb3\u9716\u5b66\u672f\u5956\u9881\u5956\u4f1a\u201d\u3002<\/p>\n

Jin Yuelin (1895\u20141984) was a pioneering philosopher and logician in China. After his study at Columbia University in the United States, he established the department of philosophy at Tsinghua University in 1926, where he started teaching modern logic for the first time, while engaged in deep encounters between modern and Chinese philosophy. Jun Yuelin’s personality and ideas have had a continuing impact on logicians and philosophers in China right until today.<\/p>\n

In the spirit of Jin Yuelin’s intellectual program, an international conference will be held at Tsinghua University, exploring recent research into the many directions in his work and beyond. As our guiding theme, we will explore the current state of encounters between philosophy and logic. The conference will bring together Chinese and international scholars, both senior and junior.<\/p>\n
