==Course Description==
Disjunction, negation, quantification, and conditional reasoning are crucial areas of reasoning in natural language and are indispensable for expressing complex ideas. Classical Chinese also provides numerous examples of the use of such logical connectives. There is a longstanding academic tradition of studying the functions and usage of particles, supported by abundant texts and examples. This course will analyze the grammar and semantics of Classical Chinese from a logical perspective, uncovering the usage and meanings of logical connectives. The course will be conducted over six sessions.
