Personal Resume:
Since April 2011, I have been an Associate Professor at the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation (ILLC), University of Amsterdam (NL), and a Senior Staff Member of the Amsterdam Dynamics Group. Previously, I was a University Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Oxford (2001–2011), and a postdoctoral researcher at CWI (the Dutch national research center for mathematics and computer science) and the ILLC (1998–2001). I received my PhD in Mathematics from Indiana University in 1998 under the supervision of Jon Barwise, after working as a scientific researcher at the Institute of Mathematics of the Romanian Academy in Bucharest (1992–1993) and completing an MSc in Mathematics at the University of Bucharest (1989). I am the editor of Phibook: The Yearbook of Philosophical Logic (Automatic Press/VIP), and have served on program committees for conferences including LOFT 2016, AiML 2016, LFCS 2016, AiML 2014, LORI 2015 and 2013, AiML 2010, CMCS’10, and ESSLLI 2010 workshops, among others.
