Personal Resume:

I am a Full Professor of Logic and Epistemology at the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation (ILLC), University of Amsterdam, with a joint appointment split equally between the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Humanities (Department of Philosophy); I joined the ILLC in 2012. In Amsterdam, I am a member of AI@ILLC and the Amsterdam Dynamics Group, which organizes the LIRa seminar series. My previous affiliations include a 0.2 FTE appointment as Professor II in the Logic and AI Group at the University of Bergen (January 2019–January 2022), and a Rosalind Franklin Fellowship at the University of Groningen (2008–2012), jointly in Theoretical Philosophy and the Multi-Agent Systems (MAS) AI group. Earlier, I held a PhD position and three postdoctoral positions at the Center for Logic and Philosophy of Science (CLWF) in Brussels, funded by the Flemish fund for scientific research, and maintained research affiliations with the Oxford University Research Group on the Philosophy of Information (IEG), the former Philosophy of Information group (GPI) at the University of Hertfordshire, the Brussels Foundations of Exact Sciences group (FUND), and the Center Leo Apostel (CLEA) in Brussels. From June 2016 to July 2021, I served as Scientific Director of the ILLC at the University of Amsterdam.
